At Edwards Family Vision, our tagline is about more than sight. It reflects a legacy that began with a father’s dream.

In 1985, Dan and Cindy Edwards opened Duncan Opticians in Elk Plaza, building a business rooted in integrity, quality, and genuine care for their community. For over 20 years, they worked side by side serving the Duncan area and creating a place where patients felt known, valued, and always welcome.

Dan often shared his vision for the future. He hoped that one day his son would return as an optometrist and expand the business into a full-service practice. A place that would care not only for how people see, but for the health of their vision as a whole. Although Dan passed away in 2008, his vision remained.

In 2015, that dream became a reality. Under the direction of Dr. Nathaniel “Nate” Edwards, Dan and Cindy’s middle child, Duncan Opticians became Edwards Family Vision. The practice expanded into full-service optometric care while continuing the same trusted service the community had known for decades.

As the practice grew, so did the need to better serve patients. In 2020, Edwards Family Vision moved to its current location on the corner of 11th and Elder. This space allows us to provide care in a setting designed for comfort, convenience, and advanced vision care.

Today, we continue to carry forward Dan’s vision. We serve our patients with excellence, compassion, and a commitment to always improving. We are constantly striving to find better ways to care for our patients through continuing education, research, and the latest technology in vision care.

From comprehensive eye exams to helping you find the perfect frames and lenses, our goal is to provide an exceptional experience from the moment you walk through our doors. One thing that will never change is our commitment to you. You are always welcome to bring in your prescription from any provider, and we will help you find options that fit your style and budget.
