Edwards Family Vision / Duncan Opticians
Dr. Edwards’ mother and father, Dan and Cindy Edwards, opened Duncan Opticians in Elk Plaza in 1985. They worked side by side for 23 years providing Duncan area customers with impeccable service and quality products that they stood by – and besides – everyone loved to stop in to visit with Dan – and of course, love on Harley! Dan often shared his vision with his son that he hoped to one day see him come back as an optometrist and allow the expansion of the business to encompass a new level of vision care. Dan passed away in 2008 but his influence and foresight can be seen in many areas of the new practice. Cindy has remained a devoted business owner, serving the community with a dependable product and a generous frame selection and with her hard work Duncan Opticians has continued to be an esteemed business in the area. Construction began in early July 2015 to provide Dr. Edwards with the exam lanes and spaces needed to begin his full service optometric practice. With August came quite a change, the office that had been known as Duncan Opticians for 30 years became Edwards Family Vision under the direction and ownership of Dr. Edwards. Dr. Edwards and his staff are dedicated to providing excellent vision care and outstanding customer service, he hopes to provide patients with an exceptional overall experience from the moment you step in the door. One thing won’t change though, as always, they will still welcome you to bring your prescription in from any eye professional and help you select the right frames and lenses for your style and budget!
